Production Company Logo

As a team we discussed the different names that we could use for a production company. We looked at existing company names and logos, especially horror film producers. Here are some well known Procuction Companies logos we looked at:

Eventually we decided on 'Locked Productions' 
The inspiration came from the following elements and idea:
1. Fasten with a lock
2. Keep engaged "locked to the screen"  
3. Become rigid or immovable                                                                                                                     
4. Where something cannot be removed or someone cannot escape

We felt that confinement and entrapment were key themes in horror and ones we could incorporate into the name. The design is stylish and non-convoluted. The idea of a key hole in imbedded the letter looked dynamic and unique. It expresses for me the idea of having the audience’s eyes 'locked' on the screen and further intrigued to watch the teaser trailer.

Here are the two images that will be merged together and zoomed into to create an animation affect of the logo that will be presented in the begining of the teaser trailer.
